: : : Here is an odd tech problem. On my laptop computer, using Firefox, I went to my Facebook page and it only loaded the top row of options (no timeline), and nothing was clickable which meant there was no way to sign out of Facebook and start over. I quit Firefox, restarted it and opened my Facebook page, but the Facebook options were still not clickable. When I got home, I opened Facebook on my home computer. No problem. But when I went back to my laptop and started Facebook again, still nothing was clickable. So, the problem is something to do with my laptop. It's been a week, and I still can't use Facebook on my laptop. Anybody have an ideas how to fix this problem?

: : Did you try deleting the Facebook cookie?

: I eventually tried deleting ALL my cookies, to no effect. This is a very strange problem, like nothing I've ever run into before despite my many years of working with computers, learning how to solve my own computer problems. Somewhere inside this box we call and computer, somewhere inside the software that is controlling this box, there is something locked in place that has nothing to do with cookies or the normal operation of my Windows 7 operating system. I hope somebody figures it out so I can once again go to my Facebook page. But I also hope somebody can figure it out because it is an interesting mystery, and the solution might help others.
