: Good suggestion. I tried it, but no luck. If I leave the Kindle plugged into that back USB port, it still shows up occasionally (same as if I plug it into a front port), but it only appears momentarily. Then it goes away and doesn't come back.
You say it worked using Windows 7. Was that the same computer you are using now? (You need to start eliminating variables.)
