It doesn't really matter if the RAMdrive is temporarily drive E: and the 40GB F:. When you boot up without the RAMdrive the 40GB will be assigned drive letter E:. Also note that you can change drive letter assignments in Windows XP's Disk Management. (Right-click My Computer, select Manage, click Disk Management).
