I run MSCONFIG fairly often and nothing new shows up. Using Win Xp, the only checked items in startup are RTHDCPL and dumprep.
I also keep a list of the services that are running and nothing new has shown up there either.
Anybody have any other ideas?
: Run MSCONFIG and review which programs are being started at bootup. There may be several programs of which you are not aware running in the background and hogging valuable resources. How much RAM is installed?
: Honest advice - stay away from Registry Cleaners, they are not necessary and can cause many problems for the unwary.
